1. Purpose

These General Conditions of Sale (GCS) govern the contractual relations between SURF66 and any person wishing to participate in a surfing activity offered by the company in the Pyrénées-Orientales.

2. Services

The activities offered are supervised by state-certified instructors and take place in compliance with current safety standards. Technical equipment is provided (wetsuits, helmets, vests, paddles, etc.).

3. Conditions of participation

  • Be at least 7 years old.
  • Know how to swim 25 meters and submerge yourself.
  • Do not have any medical contraindication to practicing whitewater sports.
  • Minors must be accompanied by an adult or have parental authorization.
  • The company reserves the right to refuse any person who does not meet these conditions, without the possibility of reimbursement.

4. Reservation and payment

  • The reservation is effective after payment of a deposit of [X%] or the total amount as the case may be.
  • The balance is due no later than the day of the activity.
  • Accepted payment methods are: cash, bank card, transfer or check (subject to conditions).

5. Rates

Prices are expressed in euros, including VAT. SURF66 reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but services will be billed based on the rate in effect at the time of booking.

6. Cancellation and refund

By the customer:

  • Cancellation +7 days before: full refund.
  • Cancellation between 7 and 2 days before: 50% refund.
  • Less than 48 hours or no-show: no refund.

By the company:

  • In case of adverse weather conditions or unsuitable water levels, the activity may be postponed or cancelled.
  • A postponement will be offered. If this is not possible, a full refund will be issued.

7. Insurance

SURF66 has professional liability insurance. Participants are recommended to take out personal accident insurance.

8. Liability

The company declines all responsibility for the loss or theft of personal belongings. Participants must follow the safety instructions given by the instructors. Any behavior that endangers the group may result in exclusion without refund.

9. Right to image

Unless otherwise stated, photos or videos taken during activities may be used for promotional purposes (website, social networks, etc.).). Participants may object to this use by notifying us in writing.

10. Disputes

Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these General Terms and Conditions shall be brought before the competent court within the jurisdiction of the company's registered office.
